This book really did provide an instant comfort for me as well as laughs, real, in the moment tips & techniques that have no nasty after effects, unlike my vast range of "comfort foods"! The 10 chapters have an easy flow to boost your morale over a range of areas, however the book can be dipped into on a regular basis, and as such now takes pride of place on my bedside cabinet. Why? Because this book is easy to read, because it's as if the author is talking directly to you. The scene is set at the outset of each chapter followed by the author's personal anecdotes, tips, quotes, proverbs, quick fixes and where appropriate meditation and visualisation exercises. As soon as your inner voice says "I can't do this!" the author appears to have pre-empted your thought and provides you with a step by step approach, which is fool proof. Inspite of difficult times right now the book made me smile, even laugh and gave me the "instant comfort" I craved. An excellent read.
