Product Description

We've all been there - accumulated a mini Everest sized pile of loose change. And how to sort this without devoting an entire week of one's life to the task? We here at Gadgetshop HQ have stumbled upon the solution. Put yourself and your money at the centre of your universe. Carefully empty the contents of your piggy bank into the Coin Sorter funnel. The Motorised Coin Sorter will swiftly start work organising all your loose change into neat little tubes of £2, £1, 50p, 20p, 10p, 5p, 2p, and 1p. If the Motorised Coin Sorter is full you will have saved a enough to buy another piggy bank. Or, perhaps more sensibly, enough to go to the pub with and celebrate the breaking of the old one. Money not included.

utter rubbish 30 Dec 2008
as the last person said...... jams as soon as you put anything in it
quote from the side of the box "in the event of needing to sort the entire contents of you piggy bank in a matter of seconds" should read "to jam this coin sorter just add coins"
RUBBISH
had to give one star....because none is not an option

Simple as that - it just doesn't work. It arrived without an instruction book, but we eventually worked out it needed £6 worth of batteries. It proceeded to sort about 25 coins and then stopped. It has never started again. I'm surprised to see that both Amazon and Gadgetshop are still advertising this product as it is not fit for purpose.
Do not waste your money on this appalling gadget.
Like the previuos reviewer, I would really like to award it no stars.

Very Poor Quality 13 April 2009
Deserves Zero stars. Jams as soon as you put more than a handful of coins into it. Has a 4.5v connection if you don't want to use batteries but I don't advise using this as connecting it to a 4.5v supply caused a lot of smoke and the smell of melting plastic.

Rubbish.

Ths product saves a lot of time sorting out differant coins. Puts them in order to count them and bag them. A good all round saver

Might as well just throw your money away - Rubbish.
It moved round once, put coins in the wrong tubes, and then stopped working and hasn't worked since. How can they get away with selling rubbish like this? Read more

Read all the other reviews before purchasing this item. I wish we had! This coin sorter is rubbish - it worked for about 10 coins then jammed and now doesn't work at all. Read more
