Product Description

In my last book, we talked about outreaching to bloggers to promote you. This book will be teaching you about how to find ways to ‘guest post’ on their sites. This means writing a quality post for their blog which they post and promote which in turn will drive traffic to your site.
I will also be going through the paces on Google Authorship.
Just to be clear posting on other bloggers pages via guest posts is completely different from what I was talking about in the last book. The last book was all about getting other bloggers involved and writing unique content about your business. For example, getting them to promote your business because they like it and like you.
This book is about getting yourself featured on a really authoritative blog that both promotes you to their readers but also helps you in the search rankings.
Until recently guest posting was mixed up with article marketing. Just so you know the difference, article marketing is where you submit a unique article to an article website which then publishes it with your bio that links back to your website. Now while this still works in theory, it has lost most of its effectiveness recently with the major players losing as much as 30% of their traffic due to lack of quality across the whole site.
Before, it was all about links but now it is not really about them. In fact, we are going to be targeting a maximum of 10 highly relevant, authoritative and niche blogs.
First, I will determine how to find them and how to make sure they are a top authority blog. I will really dig down and look at all the different criteria that make up these pages.
After that I will show you how to determine the main thing you need to be looking for and that is Google Authorship. This entails placing bit of code on the post linking back to your Google Plus profile and also adds a personal connection pointing back to your post.
This is very significant in Google’s eyes and will only get more important as time goes on. By doing this you will actually be showing Google that you are the author. This will build your profile in Google’s eyes and establish you as an authority on what you are writing about.
This will also build your site authority which may be better than building links directly to your site from other websites (Though of course getting a link wouldn’t hurt).
You will be miles ahead of the competition that are still only doing SEO and other tactics like local keywords, etc.
If you do get accepted you can’t just submit a 500 word post that says pretty much nothing, and is boring. This is a very old method.
I’ll show you how to think evergreen and outside of the box, and write a post so good that it will be the most authoritative post on that website in your niche.
Also I’ll be showing you how to take advantage of your social presence with this technique (Hopefully you have already got social media accounts, if not please refer to my Social Media Management book week 9).
