Wanted to replace 16 x 50W down-lights in a room to reduce the energy consumption (kids always leaving the lights on.)
Priced at B&Q, Ikea, Asda etc. would have cost a small fortune. Great price and arrived well packaged, in good
time as advertised. Will be back to buy more bulbs when our current supply cupboard stock runs out. Feel I did
my bit to save money and planet as now running at 320w as opposed to 800w, and it makes no practical difference
to the perceived lighting level in the room - now to train the kids to turn the bl***y lights off!

I got a light fitting that holds 3 of these, i brought loads from B&Q previously because they kept blowing and it was getting ridiculous money wise.

I decided to order these as they were 20w instead of 50w ones i had in and quite honestly ive have no problem with the same 3 i put in ages ago now. Ive also got 7 left just incase, WELL worth the money!

Delivery was prompt too!

The bulbs are a damn sight cheaper than buying from B&Q, none have as yet blown in the two months I have had them ....

These bulbs are ridiculously expensive in the shops, even in supermarkets, so I was delighted to see them on Amazon at this much more reasonable price and they are working ok so far. Also I've only ever been able to buy 50W before and these are an energy saving 20W.

I needed all 10 for one room and accepted lower power in order to keep electricity use down. But they are even dimmer than I thought they would be and also don't last very long at all - the first one went after just a month and another 3 have gone within the first 3 months. Need to find something else for next time.

Well you only get what you pay for - my electrician advised me to change my bulbs to lower wattage to save on electric bills - so I looked at B & Q 3 bulbs for £19.99!!! I bought my light fittings from B&Q a few years ago and bought the bulbs at the same time (which have lasted well) - so I have 16 bulbs to change - but only as they blow, also CAN NOT mix wattage in the same fitting. So have been changing round the bulbs after buying these 20 watt light bulbs - some of these 20 watt bulbs have not lasted very long. I bought 20 in January and 5 have already blown and a couple appear to have like shadows on them, so they are not as bright as the others. I have my property on the market for sale so they're ok - would I buy these for a new home? NO

The longest one of these lasted was 3 weeks poor. Bought replacements from Asda which are still going strong months later

It does the job. Although you will sudden reduction in brightness in the room if you use this instead of regular 50 W bulb. However, it will save a lot of energy and is highly recommended at places where you just need enough lighting to light up pathways, lobbies, or room while watching television.

I am replaced all of my 50W bulbs with this one.
