This GTECH ST04 cordless grass trimmer and edger is a must for all garden lovers. The ST04 grass trimmer makes light work of cutting and edging, thanks to its fully adjustable head and powerful 12v battery unit that spins the blades at over 8500 rpm. A pack of x20 free blade are supplied with this machine and are easy to fit. The ST05 trimmer will provide up to 30 mins continuous cutting time from one charge and can be easily be set up for the individual garden user with the extendable handles.

I bought this from amazon and have owned for about 3 months. I wanted a cordless strimmer with a head that could rotate & a telescopic handle to enable me to strim under a trampoline. I looked at more expensive strimmers none of which got rave reviews. Saw GTech, never heard of the company and thought it too cheap. I left it and did some more research. Evntually decided to just buy it and have been very pleased. Does exactly what I need. Battery lasts for two uses strimming a good sized garden in a modern house. Easy to rotate the head and adjust the handle length. Battery is on a short cord, which suits me as I can either put it in my pocket or clip it on. Gald I did not pay a premium for a better known brand.

This item does cut but is more for fine finishing, than really trimming longer blades of grass. If your just keeping things pretty this is okay. If you want to trim after a a few months of growth find something else and then touch up with this a week or so later. This item has plastic blades - just so you know

i'm using this to trim the paths on my allotment. it runs for about 45 minutes on a full charge cutting heavy grass and weeds. it would probably last longer on lighter stuff. the plastic blades are much better than a line but when I hit my feet don't even mark my boots. seeing as the only other option to battery power is 2 stroke at several hundred pounds, which is somewhat overkill for light work I think this is excellent. it's also surprisingly adjustable in height and angle and because the battery is clipped onto your belt it's very light and comfortable to use.
