What's the best thing about Grey's Anatomy? It's consistent. Consistently good. All three seasons so far have not had one single disappointing episode. Not only are we presented with some really interested patients, interesting pathologies and interesting character sub-plots but the characters are actually likeable. This is so rare with medical dramas - there's always one that's just annoying! But that's not the case with Grey's Anatomy and yet again we're left wanting more.
A witty and intelligent show that I recommend to absolutely anyone. I just hope it doesn't plateau or start to go downhill because with a show this good surely it can't get any better...until next season.

I have just started watching season 3. Hooked again!!!!!! So much better without the adverts. I'm not tied to time, I can watch as and when. Brilliant!!

I've now got seasons 1 - 5 of this series and found them all fantastic.
Like alot of other people I'm waiting patiently for season 6 to become available in the region 2 format as I dont have a multi-region dvd player.
I'd advise anyone who enjoys great drama, amazing characters, brilliant acting and fantastic writing to give Grey's Anatomy a chance. I used to watch ER and did enjoy it but Grey's is way ahead even without George Clooney.
Trust me, you'll be addicted in no time.

After a somewhat disappointing season 2 of this Emmy Award-winning series, season 3 finally saw Meredith and the rest of the Seattle Grace interns fall into place (for personal and work reasons). After a life-changing season two finale in Izzy's case, she now has to find out if she can go on as she did before after everything that happened, and Meredith has a decision to make.
As always, the episode story lines never fail to entertain and have the viewer on the edge of their seat, and it is a true tear-jerker in some places. The soundtrack is fabulous, with many choices coming from obtuse bands that no one's heard of (with a few exceptions).
Having ordered this at the same time as season two about a month ago, it was terrible having to sit through season two after reading the generic spoiler-free episode descriptions on the disc cases. I don't recommend doing this, as you'll then rush through the rest of the season two and possibly miss things as I did, resulting in having to go back and watch it again.
I would recommend this to EVERYONE, but only if you have the stomach for gore as, although it's mainly kept to a minimum, it is the worst season (that I've seen) so far on this level.
