5.0 out of 5 stars A Sumptious Golden Foil Deck 28 Dec 2009
By Hannah
The symbolism is not very obvious with this deck (perhaps because I am not familiar with the type of paintings that this deck was derived from) and may even be a little boring (in terms of insights) but the artwork and the paintings that the deck was derived from is stunning and the gold foil that in prevalent in each card really makes these cards very enjoyable and luxurious to hold and look at. I think the strength of this deck is in the greatness of the original paintings rather than its integration into a Tarot deck.

You can't see the foil effect on the internet but it really is amazing!

More of a collectors item then a reading deck in my opinion and not one for a beginner because it vaguely ties into the Rider-Waite, but a deck that should definitely be in your Tarot collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful deck 7 Feb 2014

But, and this you need to know, this is the same deck as the Botticelli being sold for under $20. Just listed under a slightly different title, but believe me the cards are the same. I compared the pics of this with the $20 deck and they are the same, same author.
