To put your tablet in Ramp Position, simply just lay your device on top of the Stump. Your device will appear to be floating on top of the table atjust the perfect angle. Lay it down horizontally and you have the perfect keyboard position for typing, emailing, or web surfing. Place your device in portrait mode and you can play a friendly game of Words with Friends. Adjust the angle by resting the bottom of the tablet closer or farther from the Stump.
To use your device in Lean Position, use the TOP step of the Stump. This holds the tablet in a slightly leaning position, perfect for watching a video or reading a book.Use the Upright Position by sliding your device into the BOTTOM step ofthe Stump. This will hold the tablet in a position for gaming, surfing, and charging.

This little piece of rubberised material does exactly as described. It is small, discrete, makes no fuss and gets on with the job of holding my tablet in a variety of positions, depending on what I want to do with it. I can sit and watch a video, I can read my books and e-mails and I can lay it almost flat to type stuff. It does its job without fuss or bother. Very small footprint so takes up no room. Have not tried to travel with it yet but I will be taking on my next flight. Expensive but worth it.

The stump does what the manufacturer says it does. it is exactly what I thought it was and it works for what I purchased it for; reading my eBooks hands free. You do have to be delicate when touching the screen, particularly if you have a cover on your iPad and it does have to be on a flat surface. It is solid rubber and is well made and well thought out. It has 3 viewing angles, but I am only using the most vertical because I don't want to keep taking my cover off.

This Stand is as in his usefulness as it's simplicity.
When I first saw it in a store I wasn't sure if this stand does actually work really well. However I can say that I am fully satisfied. The three different adjustable heights make it really convenient to read and watch videos on your device.
In addition to that it looks quite cool as I think.
