Another amazing piece of work NEWSBOYS and I can't find any reason to fail it. In my mind is to buy all of your CDs since you've started this great Christian band. You do great job for our Lord Jesus Christ. I use the music of this CD a lot when I run and it push me forward. CD arrived new and in secured envelope. I HIGHLY recommend every one to get their own copy so you can enjoy listening to it wherever you go. You won't be regretted!

Although much of the music is covered from other albums, it is a nice collection of songs - and the arrangments are very well done. If you just want a cd with new music - don't buy - but if your happy to have a mix.. then it is great - have been playing in the car for over a week now - and very much enjoy the sound!

Excellent follow up to "Born Again"

This is an excellent album be Newsboys from the upbeat, high energy "The King is Coming" to the powerful "I Am Second" this album is among the best in Christian music. Only three of the songs are new, the rest are covers, but Newsboys put their own unique spin on all of them. I would highly recomend this album and if you ever get the chance you should see them live.

I like the new Newsboys, I like the original Newsboys, I like Peter Furler's new stuff... I like it all.
A few highlights...
"The King Is Coming"- Reminds me of the Triumphal Entry in the Gospels, and the greater one yet to be.
"God's Not Dead (Like A Lion)"- I'm really loving this; I can see why it's the title track. It really sticks in my mind.
"Your Love Never Fails"- Upbeat and catchy. I usually like energetic tracks like this.
"Here We Stand"- Capturing the real essence of worship. It'd be *great* to hear this live in concert.
"Forever Reign"- Truly majestic. Through lyrical repetition, keeping focused on great things.
"I Am Second"- The real rock track here. It's like a continuation of the Born Again CD.
...and really, I like the whole thing- a solid worship effort from the new Newsboys.
It's great to see Kevin Max here on additional vocals for "God's Not Dead" and "I Am Second". Maybe we'll see Toby Mac on a future release? I'm thinking anything's possible.:) As for the new Newsboys: I skipped the 1st Born Again CD, but the Miracles Edition had 20 quality tracks at a great price- an offer I couldn't refuse. It turned out to be excellent! As a longtime Newsboys fan, it's interesting to see this new direction taking flight. And it's an especially great time for Good News.

The Newsboys are not dead!

I heard my first Newsboys album almost 20 years ago when I was just an 8 year old boy. The album was "Not Ashamed" and it was an awesome cd! It was followed by the huge hits "Going Public" and "Take Me To Your Leader" and then the group switched lead singers. The band still put out smash hit albums like "Step Up To The Microphone" and their highly successful worship albums. I started to think that that the band was slowly slipping away after this. Then I heard about Tait (of dc talk fame) taking over for lead singer and I really thought the Newsboys were all but over. Boy was I wrong! "Born Again" was a huge success and now this new album "God's Not Dead" is simply awesome!! I think the band has had some new life breathed into them! This album is full of intense, anthem-like worship songs that make you want to join in and sing. "God's Not Dead" is a must have cd!
