Unlimited rebate

Traditionally the rebate depth on any planer is limited due to its body design. On the GMC 3BVSIPCF the blade drum is positioned to the outermost edge of the planer. This design innovation allows unrestricted depth rebates right to the edge of the workpiece. Utilising standard 82 mm TCT slither blades, the 3 bladed drum design enables you to achieve an unsurpassed smooth finish to timber surfaces.

3 blade drum advantage

Delivering 3 cuts instead of 2 over the same travel distance provides a superior finish without a scallop effect. Furthermore, with a faster cut, the woodchips produced are smaller and finer, meaning that they eject faster.

Excellent balance and handling

When operating the 3BVSIPCF Triple Blade Unlimited Rebate Planer you will notice the excellent handling and balance the tool offers. This is achieved by the vertical centre of gravity design, which also maximises chip extraction and provides the choice of left or right rear dust extraction.

The shoe extension assists in guiding the planer for improved control at the start of the cut.

The GMC Triple Blade Unlimited Rebate Planer is fitted with a PowerGlo neon light safety indicator which tells you when mains power is available to the tool, so you’ll know whether or not it’s safe to press any power buttons. A quick release bail handle will immediately stop the motor. When rebating, the drum guard protects against exposed blades. All these features combine to create a superbly safe product.

The shoe extension at the front of the 3BVSIPCF helps to guide the planer at the start of the cut, and the parking stand protects the blades and workpiece from damage on run down.

Both planer and sander

The GMC Triple Blade Unlimited Rebate Planer also features a removable blade drum system. This allows the fitment of a sanding drum (model number: 3BPDRUM), turning the planer into a highly efficient sander and giving you two tools in one: planer and sander. With variable speed control you are able to customize the removal rate to suit each task.

Carbon fibre construction

Traditionally, power tools are constructed of either ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) or GFN (glass fused nylon), with the use of GFN typically only found in high end products such as professional tools. Carbon fibre takes power tool construction to the next level again.
