Featuring a lightweight and compact design, this handy circular saw is perfect for ripping materials and for overhead work, or when larger and heavier saws are not suitable for the job in hand.
Accurate cutting
The laser system ensures straight cuts every time and provides increased safety and faster set-up. The pressed steel base plate offers strong, reliable support for the saw. Rubber over-moulded grips ensure a tight hold, enhancing control and comfort. All these elements combine into a saw that is versatile enough to be used as your primary circular saw, but comes into its own with awkward and intricate tasks that larger saws might struggle with.

The GMC Circular Saw LS1200 is supplied complete with Allen key for blade removal, a guide fence and 165mm 24TCT blade (fitted).

Carbon fibre construction
Traditionally, power tools are constructed of either ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) or GFN (glass fused nylon), with the use of GFN typically only found in high end products such as professional tools. Carbon fibre takes power tool construction to the next level again.

Here is a powerful and versatile saw for a cheap price, it will be doing all I require and even then all the options will not have been used. Not only does it do a good sawing job, but it also comes with a 24 month guarantee if registered online. This saw will be to cut pieces of wood every now and again, and this will do very nicely for me.

I'd prefer to give this about 4.8, but that doesn't seem possible. It's very good value, and I've had no problems other than a slight difficulty working out how to start it - but that's because I didn't read the instructions.

This is a nice, solid saw. Its well made and does the its intended job very well. I have used it to cut up large sheets of boarding where getting a straight line was key. With the laser sighting this is a much easier task. I have no complaints at all about this saw. Having previously bought the GMC Mitre saw I am now convinced that GMC is a high quality, good value for money company and will look out for their products in future.

Saw works fine, cuts through MDF like butter, natural wood bit more awkward but never the less cuts OK & for the price saw is quite a good price & also prevails of the laser guide... Read more
