Whilst the battery is of reasonable cost I am disappointed with the time it remains charged.24 hrs or less and that is without using the phone. I think the phone is the cause of this failure as the previous battery was just the same.

I don't normally leave feedback but I am very disappointed with the quality of this item and would like to warn other potential buyers. Whenever my phone is switched off and I try to charge it, the phone displays the message "Battery disconnected". The battery only appears to charge if the phone is switched on but I am not sure if the phone is able to read the status of the battery. E.g. My phone will tell me that there is no charge left yet it remains switched on for another few hours even when in use! When I connect the charger, the charge goes from 0% to 100% in a matter of seconds. Often, the phone will switch off randomly despite being almost fully charged.
I do not have this problem with the original battery that came with my I5700 which leds me to believe that this product is either faulty or not a genuine Samsung battery.

The customer service is excellent (on par with John Lewis). Battery was displaying message "Battery Disconnected". Owner saw my original feedback and immediately posted a new battery. New battery works a treat.

Works as expected.
Works fine. Without 3G/WiFi enabled it lasts up to 4 days when not in heavy use. Otherwise it lasts around a day between charges. Read more
