This has to be the handiest thing I've ever bought. Not only can I charge my ipod whilst abroad, but it also works for anything that needs charging that has a usb connection. The bit that plugs into the ipod is a separate piece that connects to the main charger via a usb connector, which means I can remove this bit & also use this charger to power my portable speakers & charge my wii remotes on their docking station.

I ordered this specifically to recharge ipod 3rd generation, does not work on this model. This is not stated in product information. Decided to keep it to recharge mp3 players(Sony/Creative Zen)via usb connection, but did not work with these brands/models product information states that it will recharge any usb device,clearly it does not. Before ordering this I would recommend you check it will work with your devices. Had to arrange a refund from seller.
