This is being sold as compatible with all iPods, but the packaging states that it doesn't work with G3 ipods. If you've got an older unit it won't be able to charge it - in fact, if crashes it if you try.

Would not recommend, it has destroyed my ipod, draining the battery and is now unable to charge, and when try have numerous screen faults. Will just stick to PC charging in future.

This product does not work on G3 models. Worse still it looks like it will and then drains your battery totally. It also managed to drain the battery of my brand new 60G ipod in the Uk although worked in the US and UK on a nano. Too risky in my opinion.
