I"m overall happy with the product but its still missing a few things. First of all im unhappy with the dimmed light. The lowest level of the backlight can make a huge difference in a dark room! Secondly there is no backup battery so in case electricity goes out you"ll need to reprogram the thing all over again!
Other than that im very happy with it. I like the big numbers on the screen so i can read the time from "far away" in the room. Charges my iphone while sleeping and can wake me up with the radio! Its nice to wake up listening to a song rather than listening the annoying buzzer !

Gear4 CRG-70W alarm clock with dock for ipod / iphone.

I had been looking for a relatively cheap iPod dock that had separate speakers, and this was about the only one I could find. Luckily, it's exactly what I was after. The unit has a really impressive sound for its size and cost, and the speakers attach to the main unit using 2.5mm jacks (the cables fold in to the speakers if you don't want them stood apart).
The aux in on the back was another feature that was a must for me, and I've had no problems with the connection there. The iPod connector also seems to work fine, playing from and charging my iPhone 4 without a problem. It also comes with a selection of inserts so that you can choose the one that fits your particular iDevice.
The display is big and clear, mostly taken up with the clock. There are three settings for brightness, but even the darkest is still pretty bright in a pitch black room.

Gear4 Iphone Dock
Bought for my 13 year old daughter.....not only has this made all other sound sytems redundant she uses it as her alarm clock . It is a nice piece of kit !

Fantastic for the money
Easy to use and sounds great for it's size and at the price. Ideal for a bedroom or the kitchen. iPod Touch and iPhone 3g both work fine.
