This has a lot of information on it and highlights many of the important words etc. However it doesn't have any answers which is annoying as you need to look back through the chapter to find the answer which can take a long time. Also this book has amazing GCSE style questions which have helped a lot.

Poor. Do not buy.
Nelson Thornes, AQA GCSE Physics, it covers all the topics and is used by many schools as the text book. However the answers to the questions are on Kerboodle website, which only schools have access to. Some of the diagrams are wrong so be careful. If you have no text book (yes some second rate schools do not issue text books to their students) then this will do as long as you can accept that the answers are not there.
Too expensive. Lacking answers. Publisher is poor, I will avoid Nelson Thornes in the future.

The standard text book for the AQA GCSE Physics syllabus which includes all the subject material needed for all the units P1, P2 and P3 in the higher tier. Recommended for all students taking these exams, especailly those who may have missed some lessons at school during the GCSE course.

Not a good resource if you or your kids need to sit and learn by themselves. Answers are only available to teachers with a subscription to their website or a teacher's book, which costs 2-3 times as much as this one.

CGP has a new physics book for AQA GCSE with nearly twice as many pages and a lower cost.

I agree with previous users that you should not buy this book. Its OK at explaining and has questions to practice BUT no answers to those questions. Only teachers logged onto Kerboodle can get the answers. Utterly useless for home revision. I feel totally ripped off.

Needed a more in-depth book for revision in year 11. This is better than the slimmer version. A good buy.

This is higly useful resource and i would recommend it to anyone wishing to cover the gcse topics in more depth, it covers all the information you need for the exam and goes into more detail than the standard revision guides, the diagrams and explanations are great for referral even though expensive.

As previous reviewers have commented, there are not answers to the questions which is mad. I did A level Physics so can answer the bulk of the number questions but the written questions you often need to know the style required and exactly what needs to be put to get all the marks. Without the answers it is hard to know if your child is giving all the correct points. Disappointed.
