As a current teacher of physics trying to prepare classes for their exam it can be hard to motivate the pupils to revise. I have found that using the Lett's guides makes it easier and much more enjoyable.
I have found that no matter what the pupils ability is they can access the information very easily and the guide makes even the most difficult concept easy to understand.

On Page 24, speed is wrongly stated as being "distance travelled x time taken".
On Page 32, a graph showing the relationship between force and extension indicates that, beyond the elastic limit, smaller increases in force are needed to create the same extension of the spring, whereas the text states correctly the opposite principle.
Read the text carefully! I do like the style and comment and would still recommend it however... My copy is ISBN 1 85805 9313
