Product Description

Review

"The Collins 2 tier GCSE material is straight out of the top drawer and is a superb resource text for the new two-tier GCSE in mathematics. The colour coding used for exam-grade questions is straightforward and ideally matches our schemes of work. The Really Useful Maths sections are excellent; they engage interest and enthusiasm in lessons by contextualising mathematics in meaningful ways. The clear learning objectives and summaries help to crystallise the three-part lesson and enhances teaching and learning across the age and attainment range.

The material looks highly professional and relates mathematics to the real world in a variety of imaginative ways. I am confident that this Collins resource will be instrumental in raising attainment at KS4 throughout the country.

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent book 2 Oct 2009
Format:Paperback
I have bought this book to follow a college course in GCSE Maths. Sometimes i find the class a little hard (fast) to follow, but this book puts it all right after the class. It is easy to understand and has brilliant excercises. The answers are in the back, which helps to know if you are on the right track and each task gives you an indication of what level the work is at. It also tells you whether you should use a calculator or not. Great buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Student Edexcel Book 20 Dec 2009
Format:Paperback
Just what is needed. My sons are doing this course. Now we always have a copy of this book at home, and so bypass them having forgotten the book at School or at their Mum's. I can get them to do the homework on time, and look up the questions from previous homeworks set.
