This CGP revision guide concisely covers everything that you need to know for Geography GCSE. All the concepts are explained in an accessible way that will definitely help you in any areas that you are having difficulty in. The book is well laid out with all of the topics subdivided into manageable chunks which helps when revising. Each page contains lots of colour to keep you interested. Also, certain words are in bold font which is an effective way of emphasising the key points. My only criticism would be the jokes which simply aren't funny. However, if you can overlook these then this is an excellent revision guide which contains a remarkable amount of information.

School recommended the book and, although I didn't use it as much in Yr 10, it never left my side in Yr 11. It sets every fact out, in a detailed yet easily understandable way. Every topic is summarised perfectly and the layout of the pages make you more willing to read. I would highy recommend this book, which without it, I wouldn't have been able to 148/150 on the final exam, giving myslef an A*.

I'm not usually a huge fan of the CGP series, but this book has proven to be a valuable aid to the GCSE course. I like the way the writers have obviously got the balance right between being concise while cramming in the sufficient detail needed for the higher marks. It's certainly a lot better to use this for revision instead of the thicker textbooks intending to teach the syllabus from scratch.
My only criticism was that it can be quite vague in some areas, for the longer questions involving case studies it may be necessary to get some finer details from elsewhere.
Nontheless, a valuable resource and it definitely should be revision guide of choice for anyone doing the course.
