A great high school level text.

I picked this title up for something to do while on holiday in Manchester, England. Prior to this volume I knew knothing about a subject I now love: chemistry. Seven short and easy chapters; hence the title, are delivered in 94 pages of text. In clear fashion, it covers the more difficult to grasp aspects of a high school level chemistry course in bite size chunks. It's structure allows you to stop at any point and pick up with only the minorest of reviews or delays. It's a confidence builder. I can't say enough about the title so I wont.
One note: GCSE is the British equivalent of American high school, so the material is presented with metrics and a bit of British culture. In no way does this change the way atoms bond or chemistry is understood. My money was well spent.
