Good delivery, very quick, and great size, you can fit lots of your combustibles in the incinerator. However it is a recycled container for tomato paste that has been imported, to make it into an incinerator they have drilled three holes in the side of the container reasonably low down, and a few smaller ones in the bottom, as soon as you have a fire going the fire becomes starved of oxygen and becomes unbelievably smoky as it can't pull air in from the top, this was fairly easily resolved will a drill and a large drill bit but it required about fifty more holes at all levels of the barrel before it started burning evenly. I'd do this before you have lit the fire, I had no choice, it was too late, as I was smoking out the neighbourhood. I would buy this container again, as you will not find a sturdy barrel of this size for the price, and the shop brought incinerators are twice the price and a lot smaller. Would be nice if the manufacturer studied the fire triangle, and added a few more air holes with their equipment while they were recycling the barrel though.

It meets my needs because it is large enough - many incinerators are too small. Gauge of the metal is substantial so should last well. Very prompt delivery.

First of all, the bin looks much bigger and better than it does in the photo, surprisingly good!

The bin is originally used to transport tomatoes, this thing is huge and perfect for an incinerator.

The bottom of the bin has 4 holes positioned 2 low and 2 higher, to ensure good oxygen flow to the fire within.

Due to the crappy recycling scheme here in england, I have decided to start burning boxes and magazines etc instead of waiting for the dustbin men to take the overflown bin.

I tested the bin with a huge pile of recycling at the ready, a large assortment of cardboard boxes, thick cardboard tubes and many wooden pieces of furniture...

I placed the bin up off from the ground using 4 bricks, and placed two bricks inside the bin to make sure it doesn't fall over, I started the fire with a fire starting block and placed it at the bottom of the bin and lit it with a piece of paper.

One thing to understand is that, to get a good fire going you don't just throw everything in and then chuck a match in, no, you only do this if you are using petrol which we wont be doing. You must assort the pieces to be burned into structures within the bin, to make sure oxygen can flow freely around the burning pieces, otherwise the fire will die in this shape bin.

When the fire is up and running, make sure to unblock any of the oxygen holes which may have been blocked by ash, this will help the fire greatly. If you do it properly you will soon have a fire towering out as tall as yourself.

This is the perfect fire bin and I would suggest anyone to buy this who needs to get rid of sensible things of clean and easy manner!

5 stars!!

We spent ages looking for a burner this size. It is great for getting rid of all sorts of garden waste, even quite thick branches. Extra holes are needed around the base but hey, that only takes five minutes.
We got rid of loads of old "sensitive" papers from the business rather than spending ages sorting and shredding, they just went in the burner. Love it.
