The recent range ot "Netbook" PCs are much more portable than the luggables of the past, which means they're much easier to carry in regular bags etc. The problem is that most regular bags don't hve any compartments or padding to protect your portable PC. Enter a neoprene sleeve. While it won't save a PC that's dropped from a height or crushed under terrible weight, it will afford protection from the knocks & scrapes of everyday life.
This particular sleeve is just the right size for an 11.6" widescreen netbook and is reversible, offering a choice of black or red. The opening is generous enough to make putting your netbook away (or taking it out) hassle-free but secure enough that you can keep some documents etc. in there without worrying about losing them. While the iten description says water-resistant I've never had call to put this to the test. Certainly don't mistake it for being "Waterproof" there are NO waterproof closures on the sleeve so if you submerse it your netbook WILL get wet - but you shouldn't be buying this if you want to take your netbook under water.
It's already protected my Acer on a trip half way round the world in my ruck-sack (as hand-luggage) - a journey on which it would have fared much, much worse. If you travel anywhere with your netbook and want to keep it looking as good as the day you bought it then, for the money, this is a great investment.
