I bought this watch via Trendor on Amazon.
This is a new addition to the G shock range and doesnt disapoint.
Firstly the size of the watch if fairly large about the size of the G shock rescue series so it is fairy chunky and sits well on the wrist.
The resin strap is a two tone finish with it being finished in a glossy black on the outside and the normal matt black finish on the underside, the case is a glossy black finish with a Black ion finished metal bezel within that.
The case back is the traditional screw-in type and the buttons are fairy big and easy to operate, the E.L Light button is in its spirtual home on the lower front of the case where it normally is. There are no flipper wrist guards like the rescue series but the strap is chunky just the same.
It is solar powered plus 6 band atomic timekeeping, plus features a moon and tide graph and world time, alarms, stopwatch and timer.
I like the LCD display as it has a tinted green and red sub modules with a normal LCD display for the main time display. Also the E.L backlight glows a white/blue colour which gives an ambient feel.
Overall im very pleased as it also reminds me again of the G shocks that came out in the mid/late 90s but with an upto date module.
I ordered through Amazon from Trendor who shipped with DHL and the item arrived a day before the timescale Amazon give you so about 3 days from Germany to the UK.
'A' Stars and merits all round for this watch, although the icing on the cake would have been if it was Japan made and not China but the build quality is the same and it is all good. Overall a fresh new G shock which appears to be available in Mainland Europe only or through Amazon but no UK stores appear to stock it at the moment.
