First off, the clown does not get blown to bits, and the usage of it is very good.
The plotline is fairly similar to the first, f/x man asked to help in a police operation, only for it to "go wrong". Both Brian and Bryan reprise their roles superbly and there are several humourous moments, especially in the way Rolly sets up his traps. If you liked F/X Murder by Illusion, you will like this too.

Not as innovative as FX (the first film) was, when it was released and I feel you have to have seen the first film to fully understand this one, it being the second film. However, still not bad at all and certainly worth watching for the various acting performances, which are pretty believable.

I have loved this film for ages. When I saw it on Amazon I was very happy and ordered it straight away. It didn't take too long to arrive and was very reasonably priced. I can now watch it whenever I want. Thank you Gabby

FX2 The deadly art of illusion
This film brought back lots of memories of my teenage years. It is full of raw excitment of it's era.

Shame that it ruins everything the first did well.
