This was definitely wrapped well, double wrapped. Like most reviewers have said about fuzzy felt you have to push the actual pieces, in this case animals/fences/flowers etc, out from a pre pressed piece of felt. The eye pieces are really tiny and are bound to get lost so have put them into a tiny bag. The whole set looks really good and did buy for Christmas present for our daughter who is 3+ but am of the mindset now of waiting and keeping it for a later date when she is a bit older so she may appreciate the smaller pieces. It was stated recommended age 4+ but I thought it may do for her but on closer inspection may keep for her birthday. All in all very happy with purchase and I have had a little go with it myself whilst pushing out the shapes :). I did find out however that a few days after I had purchased the price dropped 90p! Nevermind the price I did pay was quite reasonable for loads of animals, fauna etc and two boards all which are inside a boxed drawer.
