Dont waste your time listening to some of the other reviews! They go on about it not detecting cameras till its to late! It is not designed to detect cameras full stop! Its designed to detect Lazer/Radar guns which the police often set up, mostly hand held guns! NOT cameras! All i can say is the people who write these poor reviews like the ones below have absolutely no idea what it is they purchased, i bet they never either read the manual! They just assumed!

This product does everything it says it does, saved me a lot of times when the police was sneaky at the back of there vehicle with the Lazer/Radar guns i knew well beforehand and adjusted my speed accordingly. Dont waste your money on expensive ones they have just the same features as this one does. Dont waste your time listening to them below giving bad reviews of this product either as they thought it did something that they dont! there fault really, they shouldnt buy something they know nothing about!

Easy to install, Easy to use, Saved me once already and i've only had it a day!! If you buy one i do warn you though set it straight away to city mode or you'll end up with it going off all the time. Once on city mode it works like a charm.

Loads better than road angel.

Seeing as the 'speed trap' money making schemes seem to be around every corner these days, I thought I'd invest in another one of these... I had one of the more 'famous' brands a couple of years ago but it was stolen and I didn't replace it. I am a bit of a gadget freak so thought I'd review this to help others.
The instructions make this look far more complicated than it is. ( It appeared at first glance that there were different modes for different cameras, and I wondered how on earth I was supposed to know which mode to use for which cameras) ... This irritated me but as it happens, you just stick it on your dash and switch it on... The different modes are automatic so don't waste time trying to figure out how to change it like I did!
Yes, this gadget picks up every laser camera/ speed trap, as long as its aimed at you. Don't mistake this item for a general speed camera detector, it's not... It actually detects laser... If it bleeps... You are the target!!! ( this makes it far more accurate and you have time to slow down before the laser gets a reading) .
It picks up laser from on top of traffic lights and on entering car parks etc but it has a single touch button to mute it and a very useful city mode for this purpose.
Motorway wise, it's very good.. Not that I was speeding, but I've been pointed at from motorway bridges a few times now and this has always detected before I could have noticed/ seen the speed trap.
For those who don't realise, when a laser gun is pointed at you, it takes a good few seconds for it to take a speed rating... This little device warns you the instant that the laser is pointed at you, thus giving you enough time to touch your brakes and slow down to an acceptable speed before 'they' get more money from you!

After a close call on the way to work with a mobile camera in a very sneaky spot, I bought the Micro Fuzion that same day and so far (about 3 weeks later) I've been really happy with it. Very simply to install, and the bracket for the windscreen works great. Much simpler that my Tom Tom to put on and off my windscreen.

Following some of the other reviews, I do agree that in normal mode it does go off at traffic lights (as most have some form of radar traffic detection on the top now), but to be honest I find it absolute fine. There is a very handy volume knob on the side, and on my daily commute I now know which to ignore. For serving its purpose, I would much prefer the early warning to help check my speed than risk 3 points and the huge frustration of getting caught doing 35 in a 30.

For the average joe, it works like a dream.

This item is mainly designed to decect mobile or handheld laser guns the police use - aka Gatso guns. This will detect them, before they detect you. A typical example is if you were speeding down a 30 MPH road at 45MPH, you would get a warning bleep that would get quicker the closer you got to the mobile/handheld laser gun. You would then have plenty of time to slow down to the 30 MPH limit and once you see drive past the camera and are out of viewable distance you are safe to accelerate back to you original speed.

It saved me on a dual carriageway from a copper parked up who just so happened to give my mate a £60 fine and 3 points for doing 55 MPH in a 40 MPH zone!

Of course this is not really any good for pointing out speed camera but you usually get signs well in advance.

I bought this after getting a speeding fine through reduced speed zone on a motorway and it seemed OK at first. Then I noticed there were a hell of a lot of approaching speed signs that light up if on or over the designated speed and the MicroFusion did not sound or flash. I thought this odd and unsettling, so I have now bought the Cobra XRS 9945 from Amazon and turned on all of its features. It picks EVERYTHING up, and performs perfectly. The MicroFusion is not worth bothering with in my opinion, as you buy one of these to do what it says on the tin - seek and warn. Also, the range is very short compared to the Cobra. I put the two together and the Cobra won every time, warning much further away, and even around corners a lot of the time (for radar)! Granted, this was only £40 odd, (and the Cobra £115 inc delivery), but needs must and I am returning the MicroFusion for a refund after just nine days. I will advise that I have given the MicroFusion adequate time and lots of roads with known active (and non-active) traps / radars and laser zones and all it seemed to do was either respond last minute, not be clear about the signal strength of the pending trap and took more of an interest in shop door opening radars, despite being switched between normal and City modes (which made no difference). Spend a bit more and get a proper Cobra.
