An amazingly illustrated book, beautiful pictures, a little more information about how it was created, but it tells what it is made out of, year made, season and designer, but over all amazing book!

After going to the Barbican to see the Japanese Fashion, it has interested me in the history of how they became more independent and what their ideas were to create such significant pieces using techniques that have been in their culture for centuries which is now being applied in a fashionable way. There is also new technology that has been around for a while, but the Japanese certainly know how to use it to an advantage. Many designers use their surrounding to inspire them, but the Japanese designers found a unique way to enhance their culture further. There is so much more to learn about the designers, and you will find much more about why they did what they do and how they do it, in this very book.
