Making sense 20 Jan 2011
By Dave M
Format:Paperback
This book is a great contribution to the debate about what is happening in the world. Easy to dip in and out of to gain insight into some key topics plus some thought provoking chapters on the things that will influence how the future develops.
A timely read for all those wondering what the Big Society might mean and those with an interest in how to influence (or "nudge") people to make better choices.
The book provides a valuable resource for those that want to create scenarios about the future and work through the implications for decision makers today.

I found this book very informative and impartial when considering what could and might happen in the future. I love the idea of consulting with global experts and opinion formers. The chapters I found most thought provoking are 'The Four Certainties' and 'Moderators of the Future'. I would recommend this a great read for any future watchers.
