5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Game 18 Nov 2006
Unlike Lisa I don't work for the company but I love this game. I've been playing Creatures for 10 years now, starting way back with Creatures 1 and I have to say this is the best game yet.

A lot of people get put off Creatures because it won't hold you hand and walk you through it - theres no pre-defined goals or levels. But the beauty of it is that you're then free to make up your own. You can play with individual norns (or grendels or ettins) breed them to make cool new versions, even make your own add-ons, and of course explore the thousands of add-ons made by other people.

Combine that with the fact that the game will never, ever run the same way twice and theres just so much scope that I couldn't ever imagine getting bored with this game. And really, what more do you need?

Oh and they also have excellent support, both from the company (in the form of my fellow reviewer Lisa) and from the fans themselves, who are always ready and willing to help you out with any problems.

4.0 out of 5 stars One flaw 30 Sep 2010
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
I played this game a while back and it is great fun. the only problem for me is that when breeding norns, the offspring didnt appear to inherit characteristics from both parents in that they always looked like one of them. The parent that showed more dominant genes is what the offspring looked like. This was a big put off for me as part of the reason I had enjoyed the other creatures games, was creating brand new looking norns. Only flaw for me but this eventually resulted in putting me off this particular game

5.0 out of 5 stars Latest XP-compatible Creatures title 30 Dec 2004
By Lisa d.
This Gameware and Fusion re-release of the popular Creatures title features an XP-compatible installer and additional Norn breeds to make seven in all: Bruin, Bengal, Civet, Magma, ChiChi, Harlequin and Fallow, plus Ettins and Grendels. It includes Creatures 3, the internet-enabled Docking Station and the extra breeds. I work for the developer - of course I'd give it 5 stars!

Fun: 2.0 out of 5 stars
I had bought this game as I was looking for a similar game to another "creatures" game... kinda regret it as I had installed this but to be honest I had found it to be really boring...
