I carefully read the other reviews (mostly negative), but decided to take a chance nonetheless. Upon receiving my Orb, I followed the simple enough instructions, and, once frozen, found that it was indeed bloody difficult to remove the inner blue bucket, to retrieve the ice! However, there WAS a knack to it, mainly pushing the outer circles towards one another (you hear the ice cracking, thus becoming dislodged from the bucket) Then, finally, using a firm grip, and upside down, you push the bucket base downwards, using your two thumbs, which, until today, did the job nicely! Sadly todays effort went somewhat "down the pan", as the middle section of the blue inner bucket broke away completely, leaving me with "a hole in my bucket" so to speak! No more ice for me, UNLESS someone out there can help, as the product does work, but it seems, becomes brittle after a couple of months.... Would like to get a replacement inner, but dont have any idea how to go about it! Maybe the nice people at Fusion Brands will help me, if they read this. It IS C
hristmas, after all.... UPDATE! Did indeed get in touch with Fusion Brands, and, God bless them, they sent me a replacement bucket... so Im back in business! 10 out of 10 for customer service!
