I'm doing Edexcel Further Maths, and the default textbooks, despite being written by the examiners (talk about a conflict of interest!) are abysmal. On the other hand, this book contains every aspect of the syllabus with plenty of questions.

Unlike the Edexcel books, this book explains everything rather than stating complex formula (such as for intrinsic equations) without justification. It's absolutely ideal for revision.

I'm currently doing IB Diploma Higher Level Mathematics and this book has proved to be the perfect companion for the course. All topics are explained simply (but with enough detail) with the aid of solved examples. The book goes straight to the point, and 'coaches' you to ace the exam rather than go off on tangents into unlreated and irrelevant details. Very concise, and recommended to anyone wishing to get the best mark possible.

This book is exactly why I found Further Pure Mathematics more interesting. I'm 17 at the moment and studying further maths at school and the book has been a real helping hand to turn to because of it's detailed examples that are easy to follow and it's well written too. If you're confused on any topic in further maths, this book should give you a straight answer as it has done for me. This book is a real must buy for anyone studying further maths because it gives you everything you need to know about further maths as a whole in one book. Don't be put off by the size of the book. You might not need to know everything in this book which depends on syllabuses and whatever, but just for extra reading and interest..buy it.
