5.0 out of 5 stars Hannah loves Milly Molly Mandy 14 April 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Hannah (6) says Milly Molly Mandy is fun and exciting. No scary bits at all, which means she can hide in her room and read it by herself. Her sister (8) thinks its great as it gets Hannah out of her hair. Which, all in all, means for a very happy family. Great old fashioned stories.

5.0 out of 5 stars Childrens Book Classic 15 Mar 2012
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Growing up in Germany in the sixties, I read the German translation of two of the books (called "Milli-Molli") and absolutely loved them. The German illustrations are even more beautiful than the original illustrations, believe it or not.

Until recently, I never realized that what I had read was only a fraction of what Joyce Lankester Brisley had written, so when I discovered that there are at least 4 Milly-Molly-Mandy books (possibly even eight?), I ordered them at amazon and with a delay of more than 4 decades enjoy now reading the series in it's entirety.

Very recommendable!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars further doings of Milly Molly Mandy 15 Mar 2000
By Deanna P. Peterson - Published on Amazon.com
I am an adult. When I was growing up, I read all of Milly Molly Mandy Books. I searched and searched but could not find them in the U.S. Thanks to Amazon.com I am now re-reading them and having them as collecters, when my grandchildren visit, I read it to them., and they love it. They are the type of books kids should be reading today as part of their childhood. The books are very pleasant, and it teaches about togetherness and sharing, not taking things for granted. It talks about gratitude. Thanks for looking for "my Milly Molly Mandy" books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny old fashioned stories about a little girl and friends. 29 May 1998
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Milly-Molly-Mandy lives in a lovely little cottage in the country with a yellow thatched roof what you can probably see it for miles. She lives with her Auntie,Uncle,Mother and Father Grandmother and Grandfather. My Grandad was eight years of age when these lovely stories came out in the shops. Milly-Molly-Mandy likes exploring and she always thinks of clever (but never horrible) ideas. I love the pictures and funny little curly cheeks.
