'Furry Vengeance' is a comedy film that released in 2010 to very negative reviews from the Critics. The movie turned out to be a box-office flop, however it's received some success via DVD sales.
The movie tells the story of a real estate developer, Dan Sanders (Brendan Fraser) who is given the task to build houses in a forest. He must do this at any cost, even if it means causing harm to nature and to the local animals who live there. Due to this threat, the animals start to make Sanders life a living hell.
The movie is basically ninety-two minutes of clean and light-hearted gags combined with family values and an environmental message.
The flaws are the clichéd plot, run-of-the-mill jokes and unimpressive animal animation.
Brendan Fraser is a right choice for the role but has put on a lot of weight. Brooke Shields is nice in her role. The rest of the cast are quite funny.
The direction provided by Roger Kumble is ideal for the premise.
Right, the movie is exactly what the DVD cover shows and what the title indicates. This is a no-brainer that should be enjoyed for that reason alone. It's a perfect movie for the kids who will love it and is a satisfying family feature.
The film doesn't have anything new but at the same time was harshly treated at the box-office.
'Furry Vengeance' did make me smile, so there you go.
