Product Description

Brendan Fraser stars in this part live action, part animated family comedy. Dan Sanders Fraser is a profit-hungry property developer whose latest project threatens the habitat of the local woodland creatures. In a desperate effort to save their homes, the creatures set out to illustrate the environmental consequences of humankinds encroachment on nature. Led by a clever raccoon, they launch a protest that Dan cannot possibly ignore. Brooke Shields and Matt Prokop co-star.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun Family Film 14 Oct 2011
By Jo
Format:DVD
Bought this film because I saw the trailer on another DVD and for the price, its cheaper than renting.
It's a really funny film that all the family can watch. The kids loved it and wanted to watch it twice in one evening but I dont think I could have coped with that. It could be really annoying if you dont like 'silly' comedy which parts of it were. But saying that I even found those parts funny whereas I dont normally.

3.0 out of 5 stars Furry Family Fun 23 Sep 2010
By Mitun
Format:DVD
'Furry Vengeance' is a comedy film that released in 2010 to very negative reviews from the Critics. The movie turned out to be a box-office flop, however it's received some success via DVD sales.

The movie tells the story of a real estate developer, Dan Sanders (Brendan Fraser) who is given the task to build houses in a forest. He must do this at any cost, even if it means causing harm to nature and to the local animals who live there. Due to this threat, the animals start to make Sanders life a living hell.

The movie is basically ninety-two minutes of clean and light-hearted gags combined with family values and an environmental message.

The flaws are the clichéd plot, run-of-the-mill jokes and unimpressive animal animation.

Brendan Fraser is a right choice for the role but has put on a lot of weight. Brooke Shields is nice in her role. The rest of the cast are quite funny.

The direction provided by Roger Kumble is ideal for the premise.

Right, the movie is exactly what the DVD cover shows and what the title indicates. This is a no-brainer that should be enjoyed for that reason alone. It's a perfect movie for the kids who will love it and is a satisfying family feature.

The film doesn't have anything new but at the same time was harshly treated at the box-office.

'Furry Vengeance' did make me smile, so there you go.

Brendan Fraser is on top form as he trys to get his crew of men to build a load of houses and large shopping mall where there is a forest. Nature has a different idea about his bosses plans for their forest and home in which many funny things happen to Brendan Fraser. A racoon is the mastermind behind the animals attack of vengeance in which he has skunks, wood pecker and even a bear cause all sorts of fun mayhem. If Furry Vengeance doesn't make you and your family laugh then you might want to check your pulse because I found it very funny and look forward to it coming out on dvd.

4.0 out of 5 stars Just leave the brain behind 7 July 2010
By Rebecca
Format:DVD
Saw it at the cinema with two 10 year old girls. Utter nonsense but highly entertaining - just enjoy it and switch the thinking side of your brain off. Brendan Fraser in too small pink tracksuit - well - scary just isn't the word!! Not an Oscar winner by any means but definitely good for a few giggles.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK for kids. 6 April 2014
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
Saw a clip of this film on a preview, but as always the film people show you only the best bits, it was OK for the grandchildren, but Brendan Fraser always seems to overact as in The Mummy 1&2.
The story goes Brendan works for a company that wants to build a complex in a rural area, & the local wildlife are having none of it, so they start a revenge campaign on the workers & management involved, & of course Brendan,
good special effects for the animals have to be admired.
