'Furry Vengeance' is a comedy film that released in 2010 to very negative reviews from the Critics. The movie turned out to be a box-office flop, however it's received some success via DVD sales.

The movie tells the story of a real estate developer, Dan Sanders (Brendan Fraser) who is given the task to build houses in a forest. He must do this at any cost, even if it means causing harm to nature and to the local animals who live there. Due to this threat, the animals start to make Sanders life a living hell.

The movie is basically ninety-two minutes of clean and light-hearted gags combined with family values and an environmental message.

The flaws are the clichéd plot, run-of-the-mill jokes and unimpressive animal animation.

Brendan Fraser is a right choice for the role but has put on a lot of weight. Brooke Shields is nice in her role. The rest of the cast are quite funny.

The direction provided by Roger Kumble is ideal for the premise.

Right, the movie is exactly what the DVD cover shows and what the title indicates. This is a no-brainer that should be enjoyed for that reason alone. It's a perfect movie for the kids who will love it and is a satisfying family feature.

The film doesn't have anything new but at the same time was harshly treated at the box-office.

'Furry Vengeance' did make me smile, so there you go.

This is definitely a kids' movie and one that may be difficult for adults to sit through. The animals in the forest not only understand English but are well versed in the laws of physics and automobile operation. The Japanese boss is unmercifully stereo-typed. Animals attack Fraser, who is leading the way to destroy their habitat for the "green" company he works for, except no one but him sees the animals.

Eventually the animals let out a full assault on the humans. Extremely kid friendly as no animal dies in the movie. The message is that companies which claim to be green are not really green. It would be a good movie to watch along with some BP ads. There is some toilet humor. Most of the humor is of the slapstick variety, with maybe one joke aimed at adults.

How many Daily Show stars can you identify in cameo roles?

Brendan Fraser is on top form as he trys to get his crew of men to build a load of houses and large shopping mall where there is a forest. Nature has a different idea about his bosses plans for their forest and home in which many funny things happen to Brendan Fraser. A racoon is the mastermind behind the animals attack of vengeance in which he has skunks, wood pecker and even a bear cause all sorts of fun mayhem. If Furry Vengeance doesn't make you and your family laugh then you might want to check your pulse because I found it very funny and look forward to it coming out on dvd.

Saw a clip of this film on a preview, but as always the film people show you only the best bits, it was OK for the grandchildren, but Brendan Fraser always seems to overact as in The Mummy 1&2.
The story goes Brendan works for a company that wants to build a complex in a rural area, & the local wildlife are having none of it, so they start a revenge campaign on the workers & management involved, & of course Brendan,
good special effects for the animals have to be admired.

I bought this film after seeing it advertised on a trailer, for my three children aged 8,6 and 4, it is probably what you would expect for a film starring Brendan Fraiser aimed at this age group of children, so expect poo gags etc which of course they will love.

The basic plot is that some ancient forrested land is going to be re-developed for the housing market, the company rep (Fraiser) moves into the show home in said forest to oversee the start of the development. The indiginous animals are not happy that they are going to lose their homes and decide to put a stop to the building company's plans causing madness and mayhem and several laughs along the way. Of course this convinces the rep to realise the error of his ways and it all ends rather nicely with the animal's homes being saved and Fraiser's character becoming a forest ranger. That's not to say you can't sit alongside the kids and enjoy watching it too as there are some funny moments which keep it ticking along. Some of the previous reviews have been a little harsh, basically it does what it says on the tin; a light, fun, kids film, disengage brain and enjoy it!

Having seen a short trailer of the film with a lot of really funny bits I was a little skeptical as to whether the whole film would prove to be as funny, but I was not disappointed. It gave me a real chuckle all the way through - should have known really with Brendan Fraser in the lead role!

Good family entertainment, an enjoyable film for all ages. We got this film for a stocking filler at Christmas, we watched it with all the family, fun was had by all, an old fashioned comedy flap stick type film but in a very modern world, its refreshing to watch.
