These books revolve around the Furry United agents protecting their kind while they track down the evil Mastermind capturing shifters for cruel experimentation. That might sound heavy, but this series is more about light-hearted fun. Easy, feel-good romances that are a fun escape from heavier PNR reads.
Bunny and the Bear is my favorite of this set here. Werebunny and werebear, an odd match that really works. Miranda's peppy, cheery and bouncy, but Chase is so not any of those things! This grizzly is just a little bit grumpy, especially after Miranda moves in next door, and the poor bear has a hard time resisting all that sexy, tempting bunny.
Swan and the Bear features Chase's brother, Mason, as the hero. So, this time it's a werebear falling for a wereswan. I remember when I first read this thinking how unusual for it to have a swan-shifter. A fun, cute read with an IR element to it as well. Sweet, geeky, curvy heroine, too.
Croc and the Fox has Viktor as the hero. He's Miranda's partner at the Furry United Coalition. He's gruff and testy, but soon has his hands full with a soft fox he's rescued from the Mastermind. This heroine is sweet and cuddly and just what a crusty old croc needed to lighten up. He's cold-blooded but warm-hearted.
I saw this set for less than a dollar today (77p today in the UK), and I'm gifting it to someone for the holidays. Thought it was a great price for a 3-in-1 bundle, and also a good, inexpensive way for a friend to try this author and her fun style of writing PNR. These are fun shifter romances, kind of fluffy and tongue in cheek, and I really like them for that very reason. No fuss, just fun, sexy times.
