We are very pleased with the furminator for our dogs and rabbits. It does a good job without having to be heavyhanded as can be the case with normal bristle brushes.

Product looks and functions as stated but quite difficult to use on my highly strung cat! I needed someone else to hold her while I tried to comb her. Some bloodshed (mine not hers). As detailed in the instructions you wouldn't use it more than once a week but I had to use it more as I could only manage to do a section at a time without serious injury to myself. It is also designed to prevent matts forming than to get rid of them. Will persevere and hopefully she'll get used to it.

Conventional brushes were useless for the short coat of my hound, who was leaving hair all over our furniture. This gadget was just right for him. His coat is now even shinier and our lives are considerably easier. Buy one!

Great tool
Have tried many brushes over the years for my beagle x - and none worked as well as this one. Brushed him in the morning and he did not drop fur all day!

A vital peice of equipement for short haired animals that cast hair.
It's a great peice of kit. I am able to use it on our chocolate labrador and two cats. I only wish I had heard about it earlier.
