My grandaughter had to have the black and white kitty after seeing it on the shelf. After a hour or so, it was time to change the batteries. The battery pack is located on the underside in a very narrow velcroed slit. It made Nana almost curse as I repeatedly tried to get at the screws on either end. I changed the batteries on Monday and when I was visiting on Wednesday, the kitty was already dead.
Changed the batteries again and two days later, dead kitty. The tiny little on and off button is located inside the velcroed slit. How is a preschooler supposed to turn the thing off and on? My grandchildren have a lot of electronic toys and they all turn themselves off to conserve batteries, but the maker of this toy must not be aware of that feature.
I'm done with this kitty and grandaughter is disappointed.
