Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
This is a simple basic toy- but my 8 month old daughter loves it more than any of the fancy electronic toys she has. At this age she mostly finds it good for teething on, banging cups together and knocking over the towers that I build (which is apparently hilarious). For the future there is scope to learn tower building, colours numbers and size. An excellent buy, I would highly recommend it above anything with flashing lights and irritating sounds.

small but sturdy 25 Nov 2010
Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
These stacking blocks are small but sturdy. My 18 month daughter has thrown them across the room, kicked them and they haven't broken. Also because they're made out of sturdy plastic instead of cheap and nasty cardboard they won't fall apart if they're nibbled on. I think because they're small it makes them harder to break and easier to keep out of the way and they don't get in the way as much. My partner broke the last lot of bigger stacking cups by standing on them but with these ones you can easily keep them stacked in the box provided, out of the way. My daughter seemed to take an instant shine to them anyway and enjoyed playing with them.

Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
I bought these stacking cups when my son was 6 months old. At first I played with them more than he did but very quickly he learned to knock them over when placed in a tower; realised that smaller ones fitted inside bigger ones and pulls them out with this thumb and forefinger; that he could bash them together and more recently if you hide something underneath one of them he will pick the cup with the hidden object. I have put them in the dishwasher a couple of times when they have become a bit mucky and they survive fine although I don't think the stickers with the numbers on the side will last forever. All-in-all a good educational toy for the price.
