A Funny Thing Happened The Other Day This book puts me in touch with the witty British sitcoms I faithfully watched for years. The author makes good use of the local North England language terms and local customs. I find it good for light reading in these dark economic times. For 2.99, there are 13 funny stories, which is a good price for the entertainment! I gave it four stars because the formatting is off somewhat. The drop caps don't translate well in Kindle, and I hope that gets fixed pretty soon. So, there goes the fifth star, but it's still a bargain if you can get past that little detail!
