Citrus Seville Orange
This beautiful citrus plant will make an ideal Christmas gift for plant lovers!!
You are buying one Seville Orange plant in a 16cm pot, plant height 30cm + above the pot.
These plants are not in fruit at present, but will come into fruit.
The Seville Orange produces fragrant white flowers, followed by small round fruit that have a rather wrinkly peel. The flesh is bitter/sourish and the fruits are widely used for marmalades.
These plants are tolerant to the cold, but it is wise to overwinter indoors or protect plants during periods of extreme cold. They grow best in a free draining soil and prefer full sun, regular feeding is necessary to produce a healthy tree. Citrus Seville Orange will produce fruit more freely with higher temperatures and excellent results can be achieved when grown in a greenhouse or conservatory.
