Format:Audio CD
This a good debut, and has may tunes that hip hop heads will remember from the late '80s. This album originally from '89 has tunes such as 'Baby, You Nasty', 'Funky Technician', 'Here I Come' and 'Strictly For The Ladies'. His voice flows smoothly over the production from a young premo showbiz and of course Finesse himself with his DJ, Mike Smooth. This album banged back in '89 and it still does 13 years later. If like me, you love the old skool sound, you will adore this joint. I know that its hardly out of my cd player.

Lord Finesse seems to be one of those MC's who has been forgotten about these days, which is a real shame because he is an amazing rapper. A member of the Diggin' in the Crates crew, and while fellow member Big L (R.I.P.) is often to seen to be a punch line king, Lord Finesse gives him a run for his money. Some of the lines Finesse comes out with are absolute genius, all with a great flow to match. The production here is all superb and has stood the test of time well (but what else would you expect from the likes of DJ Premier, Diamond D and Showbiz). A definite must buy for anyone wanting some of that true school New York good ol' boom bap Hip-Hop.

Bought this item for my partner as he is a fan. When I received the product it was an obvious fake! This is not the authentic C.D it was such a bad copy that there's even a spelling mistake on the cover as we checked it with the authentic C.D. Shame on you Amazon for selling fake copies at full price!! The cover is cheaply pressed the disc is printed on it is not even lacquered. This is not a proper press from the label that's for sure!!! If the want a CD that's NEW as you would expect to get when you buy out of a shop then go elsewhere!
