Product Description
Funeral Games is the gritty story of two small brothers watching as their life crumbles around them. Since their mother left them, their father has fallen into a drunken depression. Worse yet, their ramshackle house was built on a limestone bed and is falling fast into a sinkhole.
Narrated by one of the young brothers unschooled in proper grammar, the voice reveals more than it knows. The boys entertain themselves the best way they know, by giving each other mock funerals, in the midst of the efforts of Mr. Tock and others to save the family.
In the face of this despair, the two little boys cling to hope and find humor and resilience in their situation together.
