This is a good book for your course! However I feel it is falsely advertised as it does not make it obvious it doesnt include the 'mystrategylab' clearly shown in the image! it say it doesn't include it in the small print of the product description but this should be much more clear! and not sold with it clearly saying mystrategylab on the product image. This is an identical listing to the more expansive version including the my strategy lab and you would think they would use two different product names, one showing it includes the online part and one saying it excludes!

This second edition is a welcome addition to the strategy subject. It's main benefit is the structured and easy to read and understand approach to strategy. Tools, techniques and theory that are used to illuminate the development of strategy follow a clear sequential logic in the text. This logical sequence of topics is very clearly illustrated throughout the text, and there are many examples of real life strategy that show how companies have applied theory in the context of business. Students on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes will find the book affordable and very applicable to their studies, and its easy to read style will encourage them to read more on the subject.

This book is value for money for strategy readers at all levels of business and management development.

Unfortunately my purchase through Amazon did not include an access card to the "mystrategylab" website, which limited my ability to take strategy into the on-line medium.

The price is a bit of a turn off but it is expected.

This book contains a lot of information that got me through university.
I had to get it for my Strategic Management class and it has helped me a lot since I got it.

One of the good things about this book is that it explains terms and theories a lot simpler compared to other books.
A definite buy.
