I got this book because it was recommanded lecture by our prof. The nice thing is, that it's not a huge book that will take you forever to read. It's a nice sized book of about 300 pages but still it's not superficial. It explains in clear and well understandble ways strategic approaches and tools for business. Each chapter contains at least one case study to explain the theoretic aspects again with a real life example. Plus, it contains nice charts and good overviews (e.g. tables). All in all it's perfect to familiarize with strategy including some more differentiated knowledge for all key aspects.
