5.0 out of 5 stars Essential book for all studying medical, biological or bomedical sciences, 15 Jan 2008
By Mr. Ja Brooks (Sheffield UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Although this book may seem to be more expensive than others, it also comes with the most supplimentary material. The book covers such topics as lymph, endocrine, skeletal and muscaric systems, nervous and organ systems, manages to simplify the material so it is easy to learn then exands the knowledge with more complicated material so is ideal for most levels of study. The diagrams are also easy to understand and cover a lot of material. With the book also comes the Martini Atlas of human anatomy, this book is 150 pages long and has the cleareast prosected and dissected pictures all labled with all of the orientations covered, with a great summarary of embryo development. Alongside that is the applications manual that describes in depth disorders and clinical abnormalities that is perfect for a medical student to suppliment the book. Also online access is given but thats nothing new for this type of material to have. It also comes with two CDs with Anatomy label diagrams and tests. A very useful pack to have

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent text!, 22 Jan 2008
This book is rather expensive, but well worth each and every single penny! The format is easily accessible with clear illustrations. It is reasonably easy to read through with key terminology highlighted throughout. The book also explains a little human biochemistry as well as covering each organ system in detail. The interactive material was very well put together and brilliant for revision purposes.
