Creating Comfort offer variants of the standard bed wedge, this has been developed initially as a bespoke item for one of our customers who requested a lower incline to elevate the upper torso. Although relief is achieved with all our wedges ,for some the lower incline and larger surface area make for a more comfortable nights sleep particularly for those with a larger body frame.
Irrespective of the incline as this is personal choice, what's important is that your head, shoulders and torso are supported at the correct elevation to alleviate symptoms of acid reflux, heartburn, respiratory conditions, sinusitis, hiatus hernia and other related problems. Elevation allows gravity to work well keeping stomach acid and food down, drains sinuses and opens airways.
Elevation of the head only on pillows actually exacerbates many sleep problems, particularly acid reflux, as your body is inclined to bend in the middle, which allows acid to go part way up the esophagus and get trapped which causes extreme discomfort. The single most popular recommendation from medical professionals is to elevate the upper torso to alleviate symptoms, which in turn may reduce the necessity to take prescribed medications.Multi functional, the bed wedge can be used at the bottom of the bed to raise and support the legs encouraging good circulation, relieving symptoms of varicose veins, swollen ankles, phlebitis and oedema. For many, this simple natural remedy may be all that is required to manage such conditions very well.

Delivered promptly within 2 days. When it arrived I thought it looked big but it's fine once the bed is made up and only takes up 1 side of a double bed. The burgany colour is more of a red which was a relief as I thought the lack of colour choice was weakest link. Had a sort of antiseptic smell at first but this goes in a few days. Very firm and comfy (as memory foam is claimed to be) stays so after a few weeks, you can put a pillow as shown in the pic and works well, pillow doesn't move down the slope. I can look forward to good night's sleep so it does the business. YOu need to put the base of your back at the bottom of the pillow so your top half is on the slope, then no worries about sliding down the slope and head and stomach are in same plane. Vast improvement on stack of pillows which is liable to collapse during the night. zzzzzz!
One year after purchase the pillow is still in shape and firm even it has had top of my torso (ca 5st) on it for that period of time. So good durability= a product that will last.

I've a medical condition that necessitates in me having a liquid feed run overnight through a nasal tube - this means I can't lie flat in bed as I literally could drown if the fluid ran back into my lungs!
Now, believe me..........I've been through a LOT of pillows trying to find something that works as well as the hospital bed with the electrical raiser..........they all failed to varying degrees.
Then someone suggested one of these - my initial thoughts were "Red?" and "Wow, expensive". Let me just say now that, having used the pillow for two weeks and knowing what I know now, I would pay double! Finally I can sleep both comfortably and without worry. And if I added up the cost of all the other pillows I've tried..............
And yes it's red.........but I sleep with my own, regular pillow on top and when the bed is made it doesn't show.

This arrived quickly (and with a removable white cover - not maroon as advertised, so it looks much nicer). I was recommended to raise the head of the bed for a medical condition, but did not want to submit my husband to sleeping on an incline, and this provides an excellent compromise. It is firm, but comfy and I do not slip down in the night. Both my husband and myself have noticed that I am breathing much better, and have a really restful night's sleep. I have already recommended this to others in my family... and would recommend it to anyone who needs to sleep on an incline.
