The collected radio appearances of Armstrong and Crosby - a total joy. Every track is a blast and of course, musically excellent. They really do sound like they are having a wail of a time and it's infectious: the audience's shouts of laughter at the pair's antics are a great part of the pleasure of these performances. There are several repeated songs, since they would reprise past successes on Satchmo's return visits, but each with many variations. The two Lazy Bones tracks are both hilarious but with Louis getting new laughs each time. The stand-out track is the final one, A Kiss To Build a Dream On. Bing spontaneously (and unusually for showbiz of this era, it really is off-the-cuff) decides to make his rendition of the ballad into a duet with Louis. The result is hysterically funny but also musically a delight.
