Got this umbrella for my 6 year old girly daughter. I was very pleased with the quality of the design and felt that it wasn't bad value for money. It is very easy to open and close and seems quite sturdy. Very happy!

Lovely Umbrella, Bought it for my 4 year old son, easy mechansim to use, only downside it seems a little big at the moment, the handle is quite long for him to hold comfortably.

Came wrapped only in silver plastic wrapper. Umbrella bent at one end. Will not function so will have to be returned - so no good for Christmas gift. Colours as previously discussed are not at all like those in the image. Very pale pastel colours so make sure this suits you. Would love to have uploaded a picture of the actual colours but unfortunately i was unable to open the umbrella. Will let you know if returns experience improves my review.

Contrary to other comments, I was surprised how long this item was. Having bought for two 5 year olds, I only hope it's not too big for them!
The packaging was excessive! Two separate VERY large boxes which were sent and delivered at the same time. Tut, tut, Amazon!

unfortunatley amazon dont state it's a childs umbrella but i am still v.pleased with it as perfect when in crowded areas. fits perfectly over one person so it just means you dont have to share it!!!

Excited to get this brolly. It's my daughters introduction into Cath Kidston 'lovely' world. The brolly is excellent quality and does up well with a snappy press stud. It is very long for a child, but light and my 7 year old daughter can manage to hold it well. Lovely large surface to shelter from the rain,and as it's see through my daughter can easily see where she is going. First class brolly and a really pretty star design!
