Cheap charger supplied with batteries, seems to work OK; overnight charging might not suit some.

Might be a bit slow for some people so I always have a spare set of fully charged batteries at hand.
Yes there are some express chargers on the market but for the non-jet set type of person who does not take pics 24/7 this does me fine. I do not know the electricity consumption for this charger but it's initial price makes it a very affordable.
