I've used the Hahnel HL-F95 equivalent Hähnel HL-F95 - Camera battery Li-Ion 1500 mAh priced (at the time of writing) at 1/3 that of the 'genuine' Fuji item with great success in my X100. I've used Hahnel batteries and chargers for years and never had a problem.
Please note that the Hahnel version is honestly marked and rated at 20% less capacity than the Fuji battery (1.500mAh vs 1,800mAh), but for the huge difference in price, it's well worth taking a slight drop in capacity.
The Fuji battery is also manufactured in China, so let's not bandy the 'Made in China' phrase pejoratively.
Of course I wouldn't advocate the use of very cheap generic batteries which come with no charge or discharge protection; but Hahnel, Uniross, Hama et al have a good reputation for supplying perfectly good quality equivalent products, and you really are paying a huge brand premium by buying from the manufacturer, and the quality is not necessarily better.

I bought this rather than a cheaper Chinese copy as I wanted it to hold its charge like the original bought with the camera.
Beware of copies as although they may be cheaper, they do not contain as much lithium. This battery does have the full amount. Recommended

I purchased this battery. The one supplied did not charge and I therefore contacted the supplier - no questions, they immediately dispatched a replacement. EXCELLENT customer service. As far as the product is concerned it just works. Batteries are not very exciting.
