Fuji Battery 5 Feb 2009
It's very useful to have a second bettery to double shooting capacity. This battery from Amazon was a genuine Fuji accessory which I am using in the Nikon MBD200 battery pack. It means that I can shoot hundreds of pictures without worrying about a power failure.

You NEED this battery 16 April 2007

If you own the Fujifilm S% Pro then you need to have an additional battery. Do NOT take a chance on a cheaper third-party battery. Not all of them will work, and others suffer from quality control issues (remember all those reports of flaming batteries in cell-phones and laptops?). Why risk your high dollar camera just to save a few bucks on a battery?
